The individual suspected of bringing a firearm to Trump International Golf Course, which the FBI suggests may be a further attempt on Donald Trump’s life in West Palm Beach, has been identified. Sources have disclosed his name to TMZ.
Law enforcement officials report that the person accused of carrying an AK-47-style weapon onto the premises is Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old resident of Hawaii. Routh’s social media profiles are filled with posts supporting Ukraine, and there’s a YouTube video where he discusses his decision to leave the United States and travel to Kyiv to assist in the fight against Russian forces.

Over the past few months, Routh has made multiple posts related to politics, frequently discussing Ukraine and expressing support for Taiwan. According to CNN, he has a history of being arrested on several occasions.
As previously mentioned, law enforcement authorities have identified Routh as the individual who arrived at the golf course carrying an AK-47-style weapon, along with two backpacks and a GoPro camera.
The purported assassination attempt was thwarted when a Secret Service agent noticed the rifle through a fence and confronted Routh.
It remains uncertain whether Routh discharged his weapon, but it is known that he escaped the area in an SUV and was subsequently apprehended by local authorities.
He has not yet been officially charged, although prosecutors indicate that they anticipate both state and federal charges will be forthcoming.
