Diddy

Diddy has filed an appeal this morning regarding a federal judge’s judge’s decision to deny his bail. In his appeal, he promises to undergo weekly drug testing, refrain from contacting witnesses in his ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering case, and restrict female visitors to family members only.

In a letter submitted to the court ahead of the Wednesday hearing, his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, asserted that Combs is “eminently trustworthy” and should be released on a $50 million bond.

As previously reported, following his arrest on Monday, Diddy was denied bail in a New York City courtroom on Tuesday. He faces serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he could face a minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison.

Prosecutors oppose Diddy’s release, citing concerns about public safety. They argue that the risk is “acute” due to past witness intimidation and a reported cache of weapons found in Combs’ bedroom. Additionally, they claim he poses a “flight risk” given his substantial financial resources.

Agnifilo presented a significant bail proposal, which included a $50 million bond secured by Combs’ $48 million Miami mansion, equity in his mother’s Florida condo, and the passports of Combs and his four daughters. However, Judge Tarnofsky denied the release, referencing the severity of the charges and Combs’ apparent “anger issues.”

After the arraignment, Diddy’s lawyer expressed confidence in his client’s innocence, stating, “Mr. Combs is a fighter. He’s going to fight this to the end. He came to New York to establish his innocence. He’s not afraid of the charges.”

Agnifilo added, “There’s nothing the government presented today that changes anyone’s mind. He’s been looking forward to this day to clear his name, and we will stand by his side. We believe in him wholeheartedly. He didn’t do these things.”

We will continue to provide updates as this developing story unfolds.
