We don’t have any real reasons why,” she explained to Tamron Hall. She expressed gratitude for the experience of being able to conceive but admitted that the loss led to a deep depression, according to TOO FAB.

“When you really want a family and want it to feel complete, you have so many dreams. It was hard to face that those dreams won’t happen, at least not right now,” she continued. She stressed the importance of being stress-free and thriving in a nourishing environment in order to conceive. McGee has three children from her previous marriage to Courtland Davis. Her older children were initially shocked when they found out about her pregnancy.

During her conversation with Hall, McGee reflected on the excitement she felt when sharing her pregnancy news. Many choose to wait until later stages of pregnancy to announce it.”There were so many women, even at 55 and older, who still want to get pregnant or don’t want to be boxed into this ‘geriatric pregnancy’ thing,” she said.

“Part of me doesn’t want to go through this again. We’ll just keep loving each other, and if something happens, fine. But I don’t want to put another anxiety on myself. Sometimes it really is better to let go and let God.”
