T.I. and Boosie recently teamed up for some unexpected parenting after discovering that their sons wanted to film a music video while showing off guns!
On Tuesday, previously unseen footage showed T.I. and Boosie interrupting King Harris and Tootie Raww’s music video shoot. They expressed their concerns about the potential consequences of using guns in the video.
The clip starts with Boosie sharing that he had just been telling T.I. how well the boys were doing with their music. However, he was taken aback by the violent themes they were trying to promote. T.I. then explained the possible repercussions, warning that police could arrive on set and demand to see gun permits, which could lead to serious legal issues for them.
The footage seems to have been recorded last year when King had his blue raspberry-colored hair twists. The music video hasn’t been released yet, but it looks like T.I. and Boosie’s tough-love approach had a positive impact!
Both rap legends have voiced similar concerns before. Boosie once admonished Tootie for wearing ski masks in public, while T.I. has made efforts to steer King away from any negative influences tied to his past.
It’s easy to see where the boys got their inspiration; their dads have essentially paved the way for street rap, particularly in the South.
T.I. has moved beyond trap music, while Boosie has embraced the role of mentoring young people. Both are focused on ensuring that their kids don’t have to learn difficult lessons the hard way!
