DJ Khaled‘s bold decision to crowd surf ahead of a college football game has gotten exactly the reaction you might expect social media to have given it.

On Saturday (September 28), Khaled was a guest on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff, broadcasting live in Orlando, Fl ahead of the matchup between the University of Central Florida and the University of Colorado.

As his appearance came to an end, the gregarious personality made the impromptu announcement that he was going to try to crowd surf. After asking the crowd if they had him, Khaled struggled to rise above the crowd, with some assistance from the security staff at the front of the stage.

The audience seemed to have a hard time at first, but managed to support the We The Best boss until he made it to the back of the crowd, looking a little distraught.

It didn’t take long for jokes at DJ Khaled’s expense to take over the replies to Big Noon Kickoff‘s tweet of the moment.

“Strongest fans in the nation,” replied one X user, while another commented that it was, “The lowest crowd surf I’ve ever seen,” adding, “I wonder why, hahahaha.”

Another fan said Khaled “Crowd Tsunami’d” rather than surfed.

One of the reasons DJ Khaled always seems so carefree might be his numerous business deals outside of the world of Hip Hop.

Most recently, he teamed up with Nesquik for a cinnamon bun flavor of the popular milk drink.

Titled Another Bun, the beverage has notes of sweet cinnamon and warm baked dough and hit store shelves back in August.

“Ideas be flowing and me and the team bringing to light. ANOTHER BUN ANOTHER ONE!” Khaled said on Instagram in his announcement.

Saturday’s shenanigans weren’t the only time this year that the Miami-based multi-hyphenate brought his talents to the world of sports.

Over the summer, he and The Kid LAROI were tapped to provide entertainment to fans attending the first two games of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.

The first match of the best-of-seven series between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers took place on June 8. Prior to the showdown, the Australian rapper and singer performed for those who made it out to the venue.

Khaled followed suit on June 10, performing at the second game of the series. Best of all, as both performances took place outside of the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, some fans were able to catch both performances for free.
