GloRilla and Sexyy Red get hype with Boosie Badazz in the video for Glo’s new single “Whatchu Kno About Me,” which borrows from Boosie’s 2007 classic, “Wipe Me Down.”

Though Boosie doesn’t have a verse on the song, he adds some comedic relief in the video and has a good time with Big Glo and Big Sexyy as they deliver their verses from a turnt-up beauty salon.

“Big G-L-O in that GLE/Fifty thousand, new Chanel shopping spree/And every time I pop it out, you know I A-T-E,” Glo raps in the same cadence as the original track, which also featured Foxx-a-million and Webbie.

“Whatchu Kno About Me” serves as the latest single from GloRilla’s debut album Glorious, which arrived on Friday (October 11).

In addition to Sexyy Red, the 15-track LP features appearances from Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, T-Pain, BossMan Dlow, Muni Long, Kirk Franklin, Fridayy, Kierra Sheard, Chandler Moore and Maverick City Music.

GloRilla announced the release date on social media last month, saying: “GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11 [fire emoji] So grateful to be sharing this with y’all and as a little treat I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight,” referencing her last single.

The “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker also unveiled the album’s artwork, which many fans compared to that of Rihanna’s own debut Music of the Sun.

Glorious is going up against Rod Wave’s new album Last Lap, which Big Glo was not happy about when the Florida rapper/crooner made the announcement.

Making her feelings clear, she commented on his Instagram post: “WHY DF WOULD YOU DROP ON MY DAY I’M FINNA TWEAK OUT.”

Rod later appeared to confirm that he was not moving his release date, writing on his Instagram Stories: “La twin drop same night” alongside a photo of him and Glo in the studio together.

GloRilla has also been enjoying some high praise from Beyoncé who named the Memphis native as one of her current favorite artists in a recent GQ interview.

“I love and respect all of the female singers-songwriters who are out right now.… Raye, Victoria Monét, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, and Reneé Rapp,” she said, before moving on to her favorite Hip Hop artists of the moment as well as pop stars.

“I love Doechii and GloRilla, and I just heard That Mexican OT, he’s from Houston…. He goes hard!” she continued. “I really like ‘Please Please Please’ by Sabrina Carpenter, and I think that Thee Sacred Souls and Chappell Roan are talented and interesting.”
