Dame Dash Reacts To Kanye West’s Drugging And Sexual Assault Lawsuit: ‘No Matter What, Ye Is My Brother’

While reacting to the news of Kanye West being named in a drugging and sexual assault lawsuit, Damon “Dame” Dash says, “No matter what, Ye is my brother.”

In a new interview with America Nu Network, Dame Dash, 53, is asked about Kanye West, 47, and Ye being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta at a party in Sean “Diddy” Combs recording studio. As we previously reported, in June 2024, Ye’s former assistant first sued him for sexual harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and a hostile work environment.

Pisciotta, who used to work as an OnlyFans model before working for Ye, alleged her boss would send her multiple inappropriate text messages and engage in inappropriate behavior during phone calls, like allegedly masturbating and asking her to guess or listen to what he was doing.

She claimed he also had a fixation on the penis sizes of her romantic partners and allegedly sent her videos of him having sex with other women. Ye’s legal team said Pisciotta’s claims were “baseless” and that she was “engaging in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected.”

Four months later, Kanye West’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta amended her lawsuit and made new allegations, claiming Ye allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her at a Diddy party. She also claimed he at one point wanted to sleep with his current wife Bianca Censori‘s mother, before they got married. Censori’s mother, Alexandra Censori, eventually addressed the claims and told the Daily Mail that she “wouldn’t be drawn into the latest claims,” further requesting privacy at the time.

Weighing in on Kanye West’s drugging and sexual assault lawsuit, Dame Dash said, “So, no matter what, Kanye is my brother. I’m going to always hope that which said is not true. If it is true, then, you know, I feel bad that the girl had to go through that. But as a person that’s been accused of sexual assault and went through a whole trial and got the press of the accusation, but didn’t get the press of when I won the case knowing it was bullsh*t, you know, I would ask questions.”

Dash was reflecting on the time he, his fiancée Raquel Horn, and other companies affiliated with them were sued for $50 million by photographer Monique Bunn in 2019. Bunn alleged that after a video shoot in Los Angeles that year, Dash allowed her to stay at his home and sleep in his daughter’s room. Bunn then alleged that Dash sexually assaulted her while she was asleep. She also tacked on defamation charges after Dash accused her on social media of charging thousands of dollars to a credit card without permission.

In February 2023, Billboard reported that after a four-day trial, a jury found the Roc-A-Fella co-founder not guilty of sexual assault. The jurors did find him liable for defamation and ultimately awarded Bunn $30,000 in damages.

Continuing to speak on Kanye West’s drugging and sexual assault lawsuit, Dame Dash said, “Something happened that she was uncomfortable with and then she went to work with him. So, I would wanna understand why that happened, you know? Right now in this very moment, every day, there’s gonna be lawsuits, and you’re gonna have to filter through the bullsh*t ones and you’re gonna have to see the ones that will really stand up in court.”

Dash also suggested that getting hit with lawsuits is just a “part of the game,” and that he is “always in court” for some variation of defamation complaints. He said, “It’s really important to know if you’re gonna be on TV, or be in the public eye, it is important to know the rules of what you could say and what you can’t. When they say that you have freedom of speech, it’s freedom of speech with guidelines. But you should know the guidelines of what should be held responsible.”
