Angel Reese’s latest Instagram Live session continues to make waves online, and now Cam’ron and Mase are sharing their thoughts.
As previously reported, the Chicago Sky’s All-Star rookie disclosed that her $73,439 salary doesn’t adequately cover her expenses. The talented athlete pointed out that her monthly rent is $8,000, which totals $96,000 in housing costs for the year…more than her full-season earnings. She even joked, “I’m living beyond my means.” While going into a little more detail, she jokingly said that she “wouldn’t even be able to eat” or “wouldn’t be able to live” on her league earnings alone. Fortunately, she has multiple streams of income outside of basketball that allow her to maintain her lifestyle.
Cam’ron calls out Angel Reese for not doing the right math to figure out how much she spends on rent and says he hopes Angel Reese doesn’t go broke as he reacts to her claim that her $73,000 WNBA salary can’t cover her bills.

As the clip gained traction online, many chimed in with different opinions. While some appreciated Reese’s openness about the realities of being in the WNBA, others criticized her as they believe she’s not managing her finances effectively. Now, in the latest episode of the “It Is What It Is,” podcast, Cam’ron weighed in on the situation. He said,
“I’m not gonna say things that I would usually say because I like Angel Reese and I think she is cute. But in all seriousness, make sure you stay on top of these financial advisors, the accountants, these people taking care of your money because they’ll steal your sh*t in the middle of the night.”
Cam’ron further emphasized that while he’s “having a fun a little bit” by discussing this topic, he advised her to “make sure you stay on top of all that sh*t cause you’re young, you’re pretty, you have a lot going on. Don’t take it for granted.”
Although Reese may be sidelined this season due to an injury, she remains incredibly active and engaged. Beyond basketball, she has established partnerships with notable brands including Reebok, Beats by Dre, and Reese’s chocolates. It’s evident that she is just beginning her journey, with much more to come.
