Joe Rogan disclosed that he declined a podcast interview with Vice President Kamala Harris because of specific demands from her campaign that he found too restrictive. He mentioned that her team asked him to travel to her location, limiting the conversation to just one hour.

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), “The Joe Rogan Experience” host wrote: “They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have to travel to her, and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin.” However, he clarified that the campaign “has not passed on doing the podcast,” the New York Post reported. The interview coincides with the three-hour Rogan episode featuring former President Donald Trump. Trump also jokingly questioned whether Harris could handle Rogan’s interviewing style, and the episode has 37 million views on YouTube.
“Can you imagine Kamala doing this show? She’d be lying on the floor, saying, ‘Call in the medics,” he explained. Despite turning down the campaign’s initial demands, Rogan has left the door open, saying that he only wanted to “get to know her as a human being” and have a decent conversation.

“I could imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it. And she might still do it. And I hope she does. I will talk to her like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her.”
The podcast host added that he wants to get to know Vice President Harris and try to have a conversation: “I think we’d have a fine conversation. I think I’d be able to talk to her. I wouldn’t try to interview her. I’d just try to have a conversation with her and hopefully get to know her as a human being. That was my goal. Having her on, trying to get her to express herself,”
