Cardi B Thanks Kamala Harris • Hollywood Unlocked

Cardi B pinned a heartfelt message to Kamala Harris after coming up short against Donald Trump in the presidential election.

On Wednesday morning the rapper directly addressed Harris, writing, “No matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your fun for presidency they can never say you didnt run your race with honesty and with integrity!” The rapper added that she’s proud of the Vice President, noting that nobody has ever made her change her mind and thanking the VP for being an “example… for being empowered… [and] being a real example of what the American dream should be!”

As we previously reported, Trump has now made history as the second president in the United States to serve two nonconsecutive terms. He is also the first person elected to the presidency after being convicted of a felony.

We also shared how Cardi B went live last night as the results were being revealed and she wasn’t too happy with the things that she saw.

“I swear to god I’m gonna f–k you up, get away from me,” she said during the video with more than 37,000 viewers. “I’m sick of you! Burn you’re f–king hats motherf–ker. I’m really sad. I swear to god, I’m really sad.”

Cardi B, who joined Kamala Harris at a rally just days before the election, later shared that she feels “proud” of the vice president.

“No matter what, I know that she’s probably emotional right now. I know there’s probably a lot going on in her mind and I know she’s not listening to this, but she will eventually see it,” she said. “I just hope she knows, no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women around the world are proud of her. Women of color are proud of her.”

The evening was tough for Vice President Kamala Harris, as she did not perform as well as expected in crucial swing states that President Joe Biden had secured in 2020. In states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Harris’s initial leads faded as the night progressed.

“When I look at her face, and she was talking to me, I thought she was very genuine and not playing any f–king games,” Cardi B added on her Instagram Live. “She had 100 days to do all of this and she woke this nation up. I feel there was a lot of things that went wrong last year and they kept her too much in the background.”

In a serious turn of events, Harris chose to send her supporters home early Wednesday morning without addressing them publicly, leaving many in suspense about what she would do next.

“I’m proud of her and I hope she’s proud of herself no matter what happens tonight. This is one of the most unforgettable elections and I love her,” the rapper continued. “I don’t say I love a lot of people, y’all know that. Because I hate everybody.”

A statement from her campaign announced that she is anticipated to speak to the nation later today, Wednesday, November 6.
