Raj Matharu was arrested on November 6 while attempting to check two suitcases filled with over 70 pounds of meth-covered clothing onto a United Airlines flight bound for Sydney, Australia. According to CNN, federal prosecutors said the grey and pink suitcases were flagged during a routine X-ray screening at the airport. TSA officers noticed issues with the luggage and conducted a manual search, discovering more than a dozen stiff, powder-coated clothing items.
Among the clothing was a cow-themed onesie, which tested positive for methamphetamine. Law enforcement confiscated two pounds of meth and arrested Matharu after he admitted ownership of the suitcases. He faces one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
