Merengue superstar Elvis Crespo is hitting the road early next year with his Poeta Herío U.S. Tour, which will kick off on Valentine’s Day at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Produced by AGTE Live, the trek comes on the heels of the Nuyorican star’s upcoming 26th career anniversary, and the show promises to be a celebration of Crespo’s musical legacy, powered by hits like “Suavemente,” “Píntame,” “Luna Llena” and “Nuestra Canción,” to name a few.
On the Billboard charts, Elvis Crespo boasts of 10 top 10 songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart, three of those hit No. 1, including “Tu Sonrisa,” “Yo No Soy Un Monstruo” featuring Ilegales and “Suavemente,” which ruled the tally for six weeks in 1998.
In October, Elvis Crespo closed out Billboard Latin Music Week 35th Anniversary Celebration with a show-stopping performance at the Fillmore Miami Beach. “I want to thank Billboard because in February of 1998, the people at Sony presented me for the first time at this conference,” he said then while onstage. “I’m enjoying this moment to the max, 26 years later. It’s an incredible path where through my dream and my passion for music, I have managed to develop stories of many people I meet on the street.”
