Jelly Roll recently discussed his weight loss journey on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast, Dumb Blonde, where he shared his reasons for choosing a natural approach.

During the episode, the singer shared that he chose to forgo weight loss medications like Ozempic due to concerns about their side effects, particularly regarding acid reflux. He stated, “As a singer, few things scare me more than acid reflux. It rips the vocal cords, I could not afford any of that.” Since beginning his weight loss journey, Jelly Roll has lost 140 pounds, as reported by TOO FAB. Although he admits to slacking off after his tour, the singer aims to be on the cover of Men’s Health by March 2026.
“I did this publicly for a reason… I wanna be honest about my struggles with it. I wore it for so long,” he continued. Bunnie XO commended her husband on his journey and confirmed that he’s been “putting in the work” to reach his goals. Jelly Roll apologized for waiting so long to take control of his health. “I’m sorry it took so long. I cannot believe I walked around like a 550-lb. zombie for years,” he said.

The singer is committed to pursuing his weight loss journey and is eager to achieve his goals. Previously, Bunnie shared that her husband wanted to take a break from social media to focus on his mental health after facing relentless online bullying about his weight.
“The internet can say whatever the f**k they want about you, and they say, ‘Well you’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No, the f**k we’re not. Enough is enough. Don’t bully people, because you never know where they are mentally. There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me, that are on the internet, and they don’t deserve to f***in’ be bullied.”
