Tory Lanez is firing back at Megan Thee Stallion as she goes for a restraining order against him, and his legal team is calling her claims into question.
Tory’s lawyer released a statement that was blasted all over social media, in part the statement said “Megan’s claim that Tory filed legal docs to undermine her new Amazon Prime documentary is ‘ridiculous.’”
Tory’s lawyers argue that the timing of Megan’s legal move has nothing to do with the release of her documentary; they say it was filed simply to meet legal deadlines.
As we previously reported, in her request for the restraining order, Megan accuses Tory of running a psychological smear campaign by allegedly hiring a team of bloggers to trash her online.
Sources close to the situation claim that Megan’s legal team has evidence linking Tory to one of the bloggers, including financial records showing that Tory’s father supposedly made payments totaling $3,000 to Elizabeth Milagro Cooper between October 2020 and March 2022.
Tory’s team is pushing back against that allegation, telling TMZ that those payments have nothing to do with Lanez and that the truth will come out in court.
They also took a jab at Megan, urging people to “stop believing the narrative” she’s spinning, referencing her admission that she lied to Gayle King about having had a sexual relationship with Tory.
