Dennis Rodman Apologizes to Estranged Daughter Trinity in Emotional Post: “I Will Keep Trying”

Dennis Rodman is speaking out to share a message with his estranged daughter Trinity after the Olympic gold medalist opened up about their challenging relationship.

As previously reported, during episode 18 of Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy, Trinity reflected on her childhood and what it was like growing up with her famous father. She flatly stated, “he’s not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else.”

“My dad was helping money-wise,” she explained about her early childhood. “He would actually give money to my mom. When the divorce happened, it was like, ‘F–k you, guys.’ That’s what parents do to protect their children,” she said. “He partied all the time. We tried to live with him, but he was having parties 24/7. He was bringing random b–ches in.” Trinity went on to note, “I do believe that he wishes that he could fight his demons,” she said. “I roll my eyes because you hear something so many times, but he does nothing to change it. Like, ‘I wish I was a better dad.’ He has said that in so many interviews. It’s like, OK. Then do something.” Well, the former basketball star has caught wind of her interview and is now reacting to it all.

In an emotional Instagram post featuring a montage of photos, Rodman said, “Sorry I wasn’t the dad you wanted me to be, but either way, I still tried and I still try and I never will stop,” he began. “I will keep trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time. I’m always here and tell you all the time, whether it’s your voice or voicemail, how proud I am. I always had one wish, and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully, one day I can get that. I’m here and I’m still trying. Pick up the phone; you have my number. You see me calling; I’m still here. Dennis RODMAN – Dad.”

Before he concluded, he added, “FYI: I watch you play all the time (actually flew in to watch you play and was told not to show up because of who I was with instead, and me just wanting to support you. So, I watched you from my hotel balcony just to make everybody happy. I love all my kids. #untold #storys.”
