Tony Buzbee, the well-known lawyer who’s been making headlines with lawsuits against Diddy and one against Jay-Z, is now facing some serious allegations. He’s accused of passing a sexually transmitted infection to a woman he was dating.
In a fresh lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court, a woman known as “Jane Doe” claims that Buzbee has been exploiting her since 2018, when they first connected through an online chat. The woman claims that Buzbee reserved a room at a luxury hotel and seduced her there. She alleges they engaged in sexual intercourse without him disclosing that he had a sexually transmitted infection, though the suit doesn’t specify which one.
After leaving the hotel the next day, the woman says she started feeling some uncomfortable sensations in her groin, which led her to see a doctor. The tests confirmed she had a sexually transmitted infection from her time with Buzbee.
Once she got the news, she reached out to Buzbee to let him know, and while he apologized, she claims he didn’t seem shocked—like he already knew he had the infection.
She alleges that Buzbee asked her to keep her diagnosis under wraps and even offered her free legal advice as a way to make amends.
Despite feeling shame and heartbreak, she continued hooking up with him, claiming he kept her on a tight leash to manipulate her into staying silent about everything.
Buzbee responded to the claims on his Instagram by saying, “The smear campaign continues. Today I was sued yet again by a lawyer affiliated with the same lawyers I face in the Diddy litigation. The conspiracy to discredit me and intimidate me from pursing claims in the Diddy litigation has at this point, become criminal. This latest case, like the others, is frivolous, laughable and ridiculous and will be dismissed like the others.”
“It now seems that every other day there is another false claim filed, all of which are being ginned up by individuals working on behalf of or in concert with those ROC Nation and Diddy interests. This latest one is provably false with literally no factual basis or merit whatsoever. Prior to filing it the lawyer demanded $20 million from me, claiming that if I didn’t pay he would trash my reputation despite being shown that his “client’s” wild claims could not be true. We won’t just sit back and allow this criminality to continue. We have reported this conduct to the relevant legal authorities. And, we will be filing our own cases against those behind this to put a stop to it once and for all.”
RocNation also released a statement and slammed Buzbee for accusing them of being behind the new lawsuit. “God is behind that sunlight you keep referencing. We are not the source of every sunlight that you get but Roc sunshine is coming your way Mr. 1800.”
