Gypsy Rose is officially a mom! The 33-year-old welcomed her first child with partner Ken Urker, and they couldn’t be more excited about their new bundle of joy.
Urker shared a sweet snap of Rose holding their baby in an Instagram post this Monday, January 1. His caption read, “Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all 👼.”
According to PEOPLE, the baby’s name is Aurora Raina Urker. The reality star, who was a victim of Munchausen by proxy, previously explained to the outlet how they came up with the name. She said back in December, “Ken came up with that. There’s a whole backstory to it. Some people think that it’s because of the Disney princess,” said Blanchard, referencing Sleeping Beauty.
She added, “Some people think that it’s because Kristy’s dog is named Aurora Grace,” Blanchard said of her stepmom. “It’s not because of that. Back whenever Ken and I were together seven years ago, both of us had a fascination with the Northern Lights, and the proper term is the Aurora Borealis,” she shared of when she and Urker first dated during her prison time.

“I think it was maybe in 2018, we wrote each other’s future kids’ names on pieces of paper, and Aurora is what we both picked without even knowing each other was picking it,” Blanchard recalled.

Blanchard spent eight years in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee, who subjected her daughter to years of painful medical procedures that she never needed. She and Urker eventually called it quits, and she later married Ryan Anderson in prison in 2020.
However, Rose finalized her divorce last year and reunited with Urker. Although Anderson was heartbroken and reportedly caught off guard by their breakup, he eventually came to terms with it and wished her the best of luck.
