Rapper and actor Method Man reportedly got into an altercation at a Crunch Fitness gym on Staten Island, according to an exclusive report from the New York Post.
The 53-year-old artist, whose real name is Clifford Smith, is said to have thrown seven punches at a guy’s face “with a closed fist,” according to the sources who witnessed the alleged incident. This altercation apparently stems from a past connection between the alleged 28-year-old victim and Method Man’s daughter, dating back over a decade.

The victim claimed he was feeling pain in his face and a bit dizzy but chose not to seek medical help on the spot, sources revealed. While a complaint was made with the NYPD, it looks like Method Man didn’t get arrested, according to the reports.
Not only is Method Man being accused of punching someone, so it’s rapper Busta Ryhmes.
The rapper is also in hot water, facing multiple assault charges after an alleged incident with his assistant, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources revealed that last Friday, Busta got into a heated verbal exchange that escalated into a physical confrontation with a 50-year-old man on his team. The altercation went down around 10 AM in Brooklyn, where it’s reported that Busta threw a punch, hitting his assistant on the left side of his face. After the incident, Busta reportedly left, leading his assistant to call 911. Emergency services showed up and took the assistant to a local hospital for treatment.
Sources indicate that Busta turned himself in to the police on Tuesday and received a desk appearance ticket, which means he’ll be heading to court over this situation. The rapper is facing charges for misdemeanor assault in the 3rd degree, attempted assault, and harassment, according to law enforcement insiders.
