Trump Administration Responds to Selena Gomez's Tearful Video Over Mass Deportations

According to Hollywood Reporter, Trump’s administration posted a video on the official White House X (formerly Twitter) account. The clip featured three mothers whose daughters were allegedly murdered by undocumented immigrants, directly responding to Gomez’s pleas. “Seeing that video, it’s hard to believe that it’s actually genuine and real because she’s an actress,” said Alexis Nungaray, whose 12-year-old daughter was killed in Houston in June 2024. Two men have been charged for her murder. Tammy Nobles, the mother of Kayla Hamilton, aimed Gomez’s sympathy for undocumented individuals.

“You don’t know who you’re crying for. What about our children who were brutally murdered and raped and beat to death and left on the floor by these illegal immigrants?” she said in the video. Kayla, 20, was killed in 2022 by a 16-year-old MS-13 gang member from El Salvador, according to law enforcement reports. Another mother, Patty Morin, also addressed Gomez in the video.
