Kanye West Reacts To Elon Musk Unfollowing Him On X • Hollywood Unlocked

Elon Musk, the head honcho of X, just hit the unfollow button on Kanye West after a wave of anti-Semitic content flooded the platform.

According to TMZ, Musk decided to cut ties with West after several users including actor David Schwimmer called for him to be removed from the app. Kanye even commented on the unfollow, hinting he might be getting the boot soon. “Elon unfollowed me so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be on twitter / X, If I’m taken off go to,” the post read.

He followed that up with a link to Yeezy.com, the site for his clothing line. Kanye’s recent posts have been loaded with references to Nazis, Hitler, and Jewish folks, some even taking shots at Musk himself. The man has been on a tweeting spree, dropping over 20 tweets just on Friday.

In one of his earlier posts, he wrote, “I’m never apologizing for my Jewish comments. I can say whatever the f— I wanna say forever. Where’s my f—— apology for freezing my accounts.”

He then wrote Jewish people “don’t run me no more.” Adding in another post: “Some of my best friends are Jewish and I don’t trust any of them,” followed by a laughing crying emoji.

“I don’t even know what the f— anti Semitic means. It’s just some bull—- Jewish people made up to protect their bull—-,” the rapper said in a separate post. Another said: “I love when Jewish people come to me and say they can’t work with me anymore it’s my fav.”

Kanye West has seen his X account—formerly known as Twitter—get suspended at least twice before for making similar controversial remarks. Back in December 2022, his account faced a ban after he dropped some anti-Semitic comments and even praised Hitler.

Musk made it clear that the suspension was due to “incitement to violence” after Kanye shared an image that looked like a swastika inside a Star of David. But the account was back up and running by July 2023.

In October 2022, Ye’s account was put on ice for posting antisemitic comments, but he was back on the platform the next month. That situation also saw him drop remarks that were so problematic they led to Adidas severing their partnership with him.
