T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris have been keeping some exciting news under wraps regarding their growing family. Fans were surprised to learn that the couple is already grandparents to two little ones, with a third grandchild on the way.
The couple revealed this news during an appearance on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, where T.I. and Grand Hustle artist Young Dro were promoting their new song, “Thank God,” featuring Kirk Franklin.
During the interview, the conversation turned to T.I.’s family. After 14 years of marriage, the couple’s home is nearly empty as their oldest children have all moved out.
The ATL rapper revealed his son Domani, 23, has recently achieved the milestones of becoming a first-time homeowner and a new father, news that has largely flown under the radar for fans. “I find pleasure in watching the realization kick in like, ‘D—n, I been messing up folk money all these years,’ you know? And he just became a father. So I got two grandchildren.”
In October 2023, Dianne Cottle-Pope, Tiny’s mother, shared a touching photo of a woman meeting her newborn daughter just after having a cesarean section. She captioned the image, “Another Great Creation!!! Welcome to the world #greatgrandbaby.”
Several followers noted that Cottle-Pope’s great-granddaughter closely resembled T.I. and Tiny’s youngest child, Heiress Harris, but they did not ask which of the Harris children was the new parent. While Cottle-Pope happily shared the news of the family’s latest addition, she also chose not to tag the parents. Domani, who is pursuing a music career like his father, has kept his personal life largely private, focusing his social media posts on his artistic pursuits rather than his family life.
