While attending Time’s Woman of the Year event, Reid spoke to Deadline about her departure, sharing her love for the character and her close bond with Zendaya. That’s gonna be my sister for life, so I’m sure we’ll work together again one day in some capacity,” Reid said, emphasizing that their on-screen sisterhood extends beyond the show, Variety reported.
The actress also shared that she loved playing Gia and felt honored to bring the character to life, making her departure bittersweet. “I love Gia. I loved being able to embody her and give her life.
