Las Vegas just woke up to a wild scene— several Tesla vehicles set on fire at a local Tesla Collision Center early Monday morning, triggering major investigations and a federal response.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, flames were reported around 2:45 a.m. near West Badura Avenue, right off Jones Boulevard and Warm Springs Road—an area that’s now shut down to traffic.
Police say the fire didn’t just appear out of nowhere.

“LVMPD Communications received information that an individual had set several vehicles on fire in the parking lot and caused damage to the property,” police confirmed in a statement.
Authorities are not playing. Metro Police plan to address the media during a press conference at 10:30 a.m., and this case is already looking bigger than just a local crime.
Federal Heat: FBI, DOJ, And Feds Step In
This isn’t an isolated incident—this is part of a dangerous trend.
Police departments all across the U.S. are tracking a string of attacks targeting Tesla showrooms, charging stations, and electric vehicles.
Just earlier this month:
On March 3, seven Tesla charging stations outside a Boston mall were torched.
March 8, six protesters were arrested in New York City for occupying a Tesla showroom.
In Colorado, a woman was caught on camera allegedly hurling Molotov cocktails and trashing a showroom.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk didn’t hold back, sounding off on X (formerly Twitter):
“This level of violence is insane and deeply wrong. Tesla just makes electric cars and has done nothing to deserve these evil attacks.”
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is now leading the investigation in Las Vegas.
Spencer Evans, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Las Vegas Field Office, laid it down:
“To those who might think that something like this is justifiable or potentially even admirable, we want you to know this is a federal crime.”
U.S. Attorney General Sends Warning Shots
And just in case anyone thought this would fly under the radar—U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is turning up the pressure.
She recently made it crystal clear during a Fox Business interview:
“If you’re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out because we’re coming after you. And if you’re funding this, we’re coming after you. We’re going to find out who you are.”
This escalating drama is raising serious questions about what’s really behind the wave of Tesla-targeted attacks—and who’s funding the chaos. While no suspects have been arrested yet in the Las Vegas incident, federal agencies are already treating this like a national security concern.
