Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign has been in jail since January on weapons and terroristic threats charges, according to TMZ, who adds that police accuse him of pointing a gun at a woman.

The publication reports that fans haven’t heard much from Fivio, one of Brooklyn’s Drill pioneers, because he’s been locked up in Jersey.
His attorney, Adam Lustberg — who’s been with Fivio Foreign for years, tells TMZ that the rapper has been stuck behind bars on several charges since January. However, the attorney says this case against his client is one of the weakest to land on his desk.

Lustberg says that he fully expects the “Wetty” rapper to be freed in the next couple of months. Elsewhere, police reports obtained by TMZ say Fivio Foreign, born Maxie Lee Ryles III, pointed a gun at a woman.
Apparently, she asked the rapper to help her jumpstart her car on New Year’s Day in Edgewater, New Jersey. Police say Fivio aimed the weapon at the woman and said, “If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a f***king problem.”

Edgewater Police also say that witnesses of the alleged incident immediately recognized Fivio Foreign and called 911. He later gave his own statements to the responding police officers. Furthermore, police say they have the rapper on surveillance footage from the apartment complex where it all allegedly went down.
The footage allegedly corroborates the alleged victim’s story she gave to police. Court records reveal police arrested Fivio Foreign on January 18 and hit him with 5 charges. These include: unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault.
Fivio’s attorney, Adam Lustberg, insists that the police never recovered a gun from the rapper. He further insists that in the 21 years of practicing law, this case against his client is bullcrap and one of the weakest he’s ever seen.
