Jonathan Majors Says He “Felt Worthy” of Meagan Good, His Ride-or-Die

Jonathan Majors got himself a real one, and he’s letting the world know exactly what it means to have a woman like Meagan Good holding him down. During a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, while promoting his new film Magazine Dreams, Majors poured his heart out about what it felt like to finally secure his “Coretta Scott King.”

“It’s an ending of a chapter and beginning of a chapter,” Majors shared, reflecting on his relationship and recent marriage to Meagan Good. “I felt worthy of her,” he said. “She’s an incredible woman and I had to get to that level. She caught me in a time when I was in a very bad way and I was upfront about that with her. She held me when it was all going down.”

The actor wasn’t just dropping poetic bars—he was giving real credit to a woman who stayed solid through one of the darkest chapters of his life. That type of loyalty isn’t common in Hollywood, and Majors made sure to put respect on Meagan’s name.

Loyalty comes with a price—and Meagan Good paid it in full. According to Majors, his queen took some serious hits in her career simply because she stood beside him when many others would’ve walked away.

“She took so many hits… they weren’t announcing it but she lost endorsements, she got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was and they knew if Meagan is coming, J is coming.”

He added, “She’s stronger than me.”

As we all know, Hollywood can be cutthroat. The fact that Good faced backlash just for being in love is wild. But what stands out even more is how she never folded, even as opportunities slipped through her fingers. That type of loyalty deserves flowers.

“She’s My Coretta”: Majors Reflects On Love, Loyalty, and Healing

This ain’t just another celebrity romance. For Majors, it’s deeper than love—it’s purpose. He’s made it clear that Meagan Good isn’t just his partner—she’s his Coretta Scott King, a true pillar of strength who saw him through the storm.

As previously reported, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment charges in December 2023 after an altercation with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. He avoided jail time, instead receiving probation and a domestic violence intervention program.

Despite public scrutiny and industry shade, Good never flinched. And Majors has made it known that her strength helped him survive.

“She’s an angel,” he told ABC News Live’s Linsey Davis. “She’s held me down like a Coretta [Scott King]. I’m so blessed to have her. The relationship is still fresh but you know, I think I found her.”

Looks like he really did.
