According to The Augusta Press, 24-year-old Chris Louis was charged on March 22 with deprivation of a minor. The incident occurred earlier that day at the McDonald’s located at 2902 Washington Road in Augusta, Georgia.
This restaurant location notably has a play place inside for children to enjoy while dining in. After Louis allegedly left his kids at the McDonald’s a customer noticed that the three children, ages 1,6, and 10, were all alone without supervision.
Subsequently, the concerned customer alerted the restaurant staff and called the local police. Responding to the call, a deputy arrived to find the children unattended.
A witness claims they last saw the Georgia father with his three children around 4:30 p.m. that day. The witness also claims they observed him leaving the restaurant, returning later, and leaving a second time.
