Young Scooter’s son and fellow rapper Young Thug are not buying Atlanta Police’s claim that he died after cutting his leg on a wooden fence. Meanwhile, a woman named Demi Blanco is identifying herself as the 911 caller reporting about an “abused woman” — a call that led to a police chase and Scooter’s death.

As we previously shared, on Friday (March 28), Young Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Bailey, not only celebrated his 39th birthday, but he also tragically died the same day. On Monday (March 31), Atlanta Police released the more than 10-minute 911 call, made by an unnamed woman in DeKalb County and transferred to a Fulton County operator.
The caller used an “SOS” phone, or a cellphone no longer on a cellular network that can only call 911. Thus, police have no way of calling the person back to identify them. On the dispatch call, the woman claimed she witnessed a naked woman being dragged out of a house in a dispute over drugs and beaten bloody.
Upon police arrival, officers discovered none of that. However, they soon found Scooter with a femoral artery tear. Authorities rushed him to Grady Marcus Trauma Center — where he later succumbed to his injuries later that night.
Despite rumors circulating online about Scooter dying in a police-involved shooting, on Tuesday (April 1), the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said he died after cutting his right thigh on a wooden fence causing “marked” blood loss. They added, “This injury was not a gunshot wound.”
Young Scooter’s Son And Young Thug Don’t Believe Police Reporting He Died By Cutting Leg On Wood Fence
However, Scooter’s son and rapper Young Thug are calling out officials for an alleged cover-up. Scooter’s son posted on his Instagram Story and said:
“I’m in back the police car he gone say, ‘I’m the one who was chasing your dad. He really got away from us when he jumped them two fences. But we heard him yelling and he broke his leg. If he didn’t break his leg, he would’ve been gone.’ Just told grandma like me and yo son the same person. Certain sh*t we just ain’t going for. I know what they did to him. Just said this sh*t last night! She wake me up this morning and say, ‘You was right.’ Folks hurt my whole family. They gotta feel this sh*t.”
Young Thug also commented on Young Scooter’s death being ruled accidental by him cutting his femoral artery. While using Scooter’s nickname, “Street,” he took to X and said, “Autopsy came back street got shot.” Scooter’s son reposted Thug’s tweet on his Instagram Story and said, “Dead all the fence sh*t. Folks cap. Tried to cover it up.” Thug also continued to slam Atlanta Police investigator Marissa Viverito, calling her the “Biggest liar in the DA’s office.”
Woman Named Demi Blanco Identifies Herself As 911 Caller In Young Scooter Death
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a woman named Demi Blanco identified herself online as the 911 caller. Blanco, a reality star contestant on the Zeus Network series “Baddies,” went live on Instagram. She has since deactivated her account.
But before doing so, she told users that she did not set anyone up. She said, “I was physically abused so I called [911] to protect myself. I never had any intention on getting anybody hurt. I was the one that was getting hurt.”
