Diddy Pleads Not Guilty to Shocking New Charges in Federal Court

A few weeks ago, jailed business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was slapped with two new sex crimes charges by federal prosecutors.

These latest allegations—filed under a third superseding indictment—include one count of sex trafficking and one count of transportation to engage in prostitution involving “Victim-2,” one of three women named in the newly updated case.

According to the April 3 indictment, prosecutors allege Combs’ criminal behavior continued from 2021 to 2024, all while running his multi-million dollar empire. U.S. attorneys claim the music mogul weaponized his success, turning his “multi-faceted business empire” into a “criminal enterprise” spanning over two decades.

This Monday, Combs appeared in court, noticeably aged with “white hair” and a beard, and entered a not guilty plea to the new charges brought against him.

His legal team didn’t waste time clapping back. In a statement to CBS News, they said:

“These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.”

Now, with the indictment updated, Diddy is facing a total of five criminal charges, stacking up alongside the previous sex trafficking and racketeering counts—charges he’s already denied.

And it ain’t over yet. His legal squad is scheduled to return to court for another hearing this Friday, likely gearing up for a defense strategy ahead of the trial.

What’s Next For Diddy As Trial Looms?

This court showdown comes at a pivotal moment for Diddy. With public interest at an all-time high and speculation swirling on social media, folks are wondering how this trial will play out—and what receipts both sides might bring to the table.

Meanwhile, insiders close to Diddy maintain that he’s being unfairly targeted due to his status and fame, pointing to the years-long delay in legal action and the resurfacing of past relationships now repackaged as criminal accusations.

For now, Combs remains locked in, both literally and figuratively, as his legal team plans to fight these cases.
