Deshae Frost Defends DDG
We haven’t heard much from DDG since he got rocked by abuse claims made by the mother of his child, Halle Bailey. However, a few people are speaking out to defend him, including his mother. The latest to jump in is fellow YouTuber and streamer, Deshae Frost. He has taken it upon himself to protect DDG’s reputation.
Just hours after news broke that the singer and actress filed a restraining order against DDG, claiming he had been repeatedly violent towards her, Frost dropped a video denying that DDG would ever do such a thing. He flips the script and alleged that Halle was the abuser in their last relationship, and he also believes she’s part of the Illuminati. You can check out more info about the situation [here](#). Here’s what else he had to say:

Deshae Frost’s Defense of DDG
Deshae Frost shares a passionate defense of DDG, emphasizing his friend’s character and dismissing the abuse allegations. According to Frost, he can’t believe that DDG could be violent. He expressed how shocked he was at Halle’s claims, asserting that they paint an entirely different picture of the man he knows.
Frost makes bold statements in his video, stating, “It’s unfair to label DDG as an abuser. He’s always been supportive and loving. Halle’s got her own history.” In this heated moment, he alleges that Halle not only used to put hands on DDG but also suggests that she’s linked to a greater conspiracy: the Illuminati.
Frost’s comments have stirred the pot, igniting discussions across social media platforms. Many fans are divided, with some supporting DDG and others voicing their skepticism based on Halle’s claims.
The Seriousness of Halle’s Allegations
As we previously reported, Halle explained in her filing, “Throughout our relationship, (DDG real name Daryl) has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.”
She detailed one specific incident in January. Halle claims he was repeatedly calling her a “b*tch” while she tried to strap their baby into a car seat. “The next thing I knew, things got physical between us,” Bailey stated in the documents. “We fought each other, wrestling and tussling. At one point, Darryl pulled my hair and slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain.”
In her filing, Bailey included not only photos of her injuries but also shared a text message where DDG accused her of being on vacation with fellow artist Brent Faiyaz, a claim she denied.
Legal Fallout and Public Reaction
Halle requested that DDG be ordered to stop using his streaming platforms, like Twitch and YouTube, to turn his followers against her. She expressed in the documents, “Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts bad-mouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media.”
This past Tuesday, a judge ordered DDG, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., to stay away from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo, until a hearing on June 6. He has also been ordered not to possess any weapons, with the judge having the ability to extend this order for up to five years.
At just 27, DDG has had a tumultuous relationship with Halle, who is 25. They dated from 2022 until last year, but he has not yet released an official statement regarding the allegations. Clips circulating on Aidin Ross’ stream show the exact moment he received the news about the restraining order.
