Congratulations are in order as Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter marries his fiancée Leanna Lenee in an intimate ceremony in Teneessee on Saturday (May 24).
Less than one month after being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter is celebrating another milestone in his life — marrying his lady Leanna De La Fuente and turning her into Mrs. Travis Hunter.
The intimate ceremony reportedly took place in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The couple was surrounded by close family and friends, including Travis Hunter, Sr., who was granted permission to attend his son’s wedding. As we previously shared, the elder Hunter, 39, is nearly halfway through his sentence stemming from gun and drug charges.

In videos shared online, after exchanging vows, Hunter gave his new wife a huge surprise! Together, they unboxed a brand new luxury 6-figure-plus SUV. Specifically, an all-black Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 BRABUS 800, which starts at $716,000 and goes up into the millions.
The couple first began dating in 2022 after Hunter sent Lenee a direct message on Instagram. Although she didn’t initially respond for two months, the two eventually hit it off.
As we previously shared in December 2024, the two made major headlines as Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy. There was a big controversy over Lenee not standing up immediately when he was called to the stage for his acceptance speech. The entire incident snowballed into a massive attack on the couple’s 2-year relationship.
Travis Hunter immediately rushed to his fiancée’s defense. In a heartfelt statement, he revealed that the criticism hit her hard, He claimed she began spending most of her days in tears and turning to alcohol to cope with the relentless online hate. Hunter said, “Y’all hate on me and then y’all go hate on my girl, I feel the same pain that she feels.”
For the next couple of days, Hunter went online to defend his woman. Lenee eventually came online to shut things down for good, explaining how they met, her viral online comments before, and all of the recent drama.
