Detroit-based rapper Skilla Baby has made his first public appearance at a 42 Dugg show, less than 72 hours after being “targeted” and shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting in the city.
Detroit Rapper Skilla Baby Shot Multiple Times On 8 Mile Road, Grazed In Head, And More
As we previously shared, Skilla Baby, born Trevon Gardner, was grazed in the head and shot in the arm, and more on Thursday (May 22). At the time of the shooting, Redford Township Police said the rapper was shot at in a black SUV around 7:00 p.m. on Eastbound 8 Mile Road near Telegraph Road.
The shooting led him to crash the vehicle into the side of a building off of 8 Mile Road near Beech Daly Road in Redford Township. After the shooting and subsequent crash, the suspect fled the scene.
Meanwhile, Skilla Baby was transported to a hospital. Sources told FOX 2 Detroit that the rapper was grazed twice in the head and back and shot in the hand.
The publication further reported that the rapper was alert upon arriving at the hospital and expected to survive. As he recovered, he was surrounded by loved ones and had been placed under high security at the hospital. Redford Township Police are currently investigating the incident. Authorities are working to determine what led up to the shooting and who is responsible.

On Saturday (May 24), Skilla Baby surprised fans on stage at a 42 Dugg show in Detroit, Michigan. Just about 48 hours after being shot several times in the city, the rapper was seen in several viral videos coming out at 42 Dugg’s Detroit show.
He appeared on stage to perform some of his popular hits — with fans calling his first public appearances “the biggest flex.” While holding his right arm in a cast and blue sling, Skilla Babby came out on the stage with a fierce vengeance.
