Andrew Tate and Brother Tristan Face Charges of Rape and Human Trafficking by UK Prosecutors • Hollywood Unlocked

Prosecutors Bring 21 Criminal Charges Against Tate Brothers Including Rape and Trafficking

UK prosecutors ain’t holding back—Andrew and Tristan Tate are officially facing 21 criminal charges. These include rape, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for profit. Yep, it’s real now.

Andrew Tate, 38, is being hit with 10 charges tied to three alleged victims. Meanwhile, his brother Tristan, 36, is looking at 11 charges tied to one alleged victim. That’s serious time if convicted.

A Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spokesperson confirmed:

“We can confirm that we have authorised charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate for offences including rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and actual bodily harm against three women.”
The charges stem from an investigation by Bedfordshire Police. Their statement reads:

“These charging decisions followed receipt of a file of evidence from Bedfordshire police.”

Andrew Tate Allowed to Leave Romania Under Specific Conditions

Extradition in Motion: Romania to Hand Over the Tate Brothers After Domestic Trials

The Tate brothers are still in Romania, but that could change soon. A European arrest warrant was issued in England in 2024, prompting Romanian courts to order the duo’s extradition. But hold up—they gotta face their Romanian legal drama first.

“A European arrest warrant was issued in England in 2024, and as a result, the Romanian courts ordered the extradition to the UK of Andrew and Tristan Tate. However, the domestic criminal matters in Romania must be settled first.”

The Bedfordshire authorities issued the warrant, but the alleged crimes stretch back over a decade—from 2012 to 2015.

And this ain’t even the only case they’re dealing with. They’re also facing allegations in Romania involving trafficking minors, sexual acts with a minor, and money laundering.

Separate UK Civil Suit Also Haunts Andrew Tate

Even while all this criminal stuff is unfolding, Andrew Tate got another legal situation to worry about—he’s being sued by four British women. These are the same women whose 2019 allegations were allegedly ignored by prosecutors.

They ain’t backing down, and their lawyer Matt Jury has made it very clear:

“We welcome the clarity from the Crown Prosecution Service that our authorities are working to ensure the Tates face justice here in the UK – they cannot be allowed to escape extradition.” He also went in on the CPS for previously dropping the ball:

“At the same time, we ask once more that CPS admit its mistake in failing to prosecute Tate when he lived in the UK and finally charge him for the rape and assault of the other three women, our clients, who originally filed criminal complaints against him as long ago as 2014 but were failed by the system. They deserve justice, too.”

Tates Deny All Allegations—But Authorities Keep Closing In

Despite the mounting cases and growing international pressure, Andrew and Tristan continue to deny all the accusations against them. Their legal team insists that this is all part of a targeted smear campaign.

Still, the evidence continues to pile up—and prosecutors on both sides of the world seem more determined than ever. As of now, no trial dates have been confirmed in the UK, but Romania’s cases will determine when extradition takes place.
