The internet is currently picking on Keyshia Cole following an accidental slip-up. The R&B singer recently appeared on The Breakfast Club, where she had a wide-ranging conversation and even looked back on her Verzuz session with Ashanti.
While giving the “Rock Wit U” singer her flowers, Keyshia congratulated her on baby number two. “Shout out to Ashanti. She’s amazing… just to be up on that platform with Ashanti, I appreciate that.” When asked if they talked after that, Keyshia replied, “No… she got a baby… again!”
Later in the interview, Loren Lorsa asked her to clarify the baby news. Keyshia honestly replied, “Omg… I didn’t break anything. I saw this on the internet!” Charlamagne tha God backed her up and said, “I thought everybody knew that.” However, Loren quickly noted that so far, it’s just been rumors floating around — nothing has been confirmed.
Now y’all know the internet wasted no time trying to rip Keyshia. One person posted on X, “Now why Keyshia Cole out there telling Ashanti’s business like that? That’s messed up.” Another said, “Why y’all ain’t tell me Ashanti pregnant again? I had to find out from Keyshia Cole.”
Well, Keyshia caught wind of the comments and quickly apologized for the gaffe. She said under our comment section,
“My apologies… I shouldn’t have said that. I thought she announced it. If that isn’t true i apologize.”

Back in February of this year, she shared her thoughts about expanding her family while giving an update on how motherhood has been treating her. She told E! News:
“I am feeling amazing, incredibly pleased, humbled,” she told the outlet. “My life has completely changed for the better. I feel full, you know? My cup is full.”
She continued:
“We’re going to add some more,” she said, adding that she wouldn’t mind having a girl next. “Definitely a girl to balance it out. I’m outnumbered in the house right now. So, a girl would be great.”
