Bow Wow has left fans wondering if he and his girlfriend Jade Pinkett have already split after just recently confirming they are an item!
In late April, Bow Wow opened up about his relationship debut earlier this year. He appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s show, ‘Club Shay Shay,’ and confirmed that he is dating Jada Pinkett Smith’s niece, Jade Pinkett.
The confirmation arrived a few months after the couple shared a selfie celebrating the new year together. In his interview with Sharpe, the 38-year-old actor and rapper, born Shad Moss, explained that he was “trying to keep [the relationship] lowkey.”
However, he did share his thoughts behind posting the viral image. He even alluded to the couple eventually tying the knot. In the New Year’s Eve post, Bow Wow admitted that he tried to understand his girlfriend’s desire to share the photo of them. He said, he “put [himself] in a woman’s shoes.” He explained, “She wanted to show off and show me off. I’m going to let her get this.” He added that he didn’t “want to make it an issue. She looks beautiful; I look good. It’s a moment.”
Bow Wow Says He And Jade Pinkett Have Discussed Marriage In Relationship
Jade not only shared the image on her page, but he reposted it on his Instagram Story. However, he didn’t tag her, thinking it would help keep a little layer of privacy. Bow continued to explain:
“I always tell people my page is for my fans and it’s for work. You want to see my girl, go to her page. Birthdays, you might see her. Holidays, New Year’s, certain things… You might see her five times, six times out of the year on my page.”
At the time of the interview, Bow Wow didn’t confirm exactly how long the two were together, but he did reveal that he talked about the possibility of getting married.
He said, “Me and her, we’ve had these talks. I told her like this: I’m not against anything, but when I get to that point, or if I ever do get to that point, I want to make sure I’m right. That’s not only commitment to you but commitment to God.” He continued to explain, “I don’t want to talk about it, I don’t want to plan it. Let’s just roll, baby. If it gets there, it gets there.”
Bow Wow Sparks Jade Pinkett Split Rumors After Telling Female Followers He’s ‘Back Outside’
Since his April 30 appearance on ‘Club Shay Shay,’ Bow Wow has fans wondering if he and Jade Pinkett have split after he posted to his Instagram about being back on his bullsh*t in Las Vegas. On Saturday (May 31), Bow Wow posted a photo of a woman standing behind him with her arm wrapped around his chest.
With tons of typos and grammatical errors, he captioned the photo, “I barley post! BUT THIS VEGIS TRIP IM ON BS! LADIES IM BACK OUTISDE.” In the comment sections, several fans told Bow Wow to stay inside. Others wondered where Jade Pinkett was while more appeared sad that things possibly didn’t work out.
Meanwhile, over on Jade’s Instagram Story, she posted photos of herself in Los Angeles, just 4 hours away. She continued to share cryptic messages and quotes, seemingly alluding to a breakup with Bow Wow.
