Israel and Iran have officially confirmed that the two nations have agreed on a “complete and total ceasefire” to end its 12-day war after President Donald Trump announced the deal earlier today, Monday, June 23.
Things in the Israel-Iran conflict took a turn after President Trump ordered air strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites in “Operation Midnight Hammer” on on Saturday (June 21).
As we previously shared, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform and told his followers that he ordered air strikes on Natanz, Esfahan, and Fordow, which is considered the “crown jewel” of Iran’s nuclear program.
Trump told his followers:
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
When Trump later addressed the nation from the White House, he in part stated:
“The strikes were a spectacular nuclear success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace … If they do not, future attacks will be far greater, and a lot easier. For forty years, Iran has been saying, ‘Death to America,’ death to Israel.”
Donald Trump Announces Ceasefire Deal Amid Israel-Iran Conflict
On Monday (June 23), Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform again and announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a “complete and total ceasefire.” He wrote:
“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL.
On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!

Israel And Iran Agree To Ceasefire After 12-Day War Following Donald Trump Announcing Deal
Shortly, reports began surfacing claiming Iran had NOT agreed to the ceasefire deal with Israel as Donald Trump had announced. However, later reports confirmed both Israel and Iran officially agreed to the ceasefire deal.
According to sources for CNN, Qatar helped broker the ceasefire by mediating talks with Iran. Per a senior White House official, Israel agreed to the ceasefire on the condition that Iran stop its attacks in their country. Iran agreed to the terms, thus ending the 12-day war.
Trump later took to Truth Social on Monday evening and shared:
“Israel & Iran came to me, almost simultaneously, and said, “PEACE!” I knew the time was NOW. The World, and the Middle East, are the real WINNERS! Both Nations will see tremendous LOVE, PEACE, AND PROSPERITY in their futures. They have so much to gain, and yet, so much to lose if they stray from the road of RIGHTEOUSNESS & TRUTH. The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED, & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!”
