‘Just End Him’: 5th Graders Caught Allegedly Plotting Classmate’s Murder Over School Drama

#Socialites, you might wanna sit down for this one because the story coming out of Arizona is wild. In a disturbing case that has left parents, school officials, and police shook, a group of four 5th grade girls are accused of plotting to kill a classmate — and the reason? A messy school breakup mixed with jealousy and rage.

According to WSFA citing a newly released report from Surprise Police, this all went down at Legacy Traditional School’s West Surprise campus, where four girls… all just 10 and 11 years old… were allegedly scheming to stab a boy in a bathroom and make it look like he committed suicide. Now you’re probably thinking this was all talk, but these little kids were dead serious.

The report says the girls came up with the plan during lunch and recess on October 1, 2024. And the words one of them allegedly used?
“Just end him.”

Inside the Chilling Plot: Gloves, Fake Notes, and Bathroom Setup

Police say these girls assigned each other roles like they were in a movie. One was supposed to bring the knife, another would write a fake suicide note, one girl would act as the lookout, and the last one? She was expected to actually carry out the stabbing in the school’s outside bathroom.

They even discussed wearing gloves to avoid fingerprints on the murder weapon.

According to police, the motive may have been tied to a recent breakup and cheating rumors swirling around the boy, who had allegedly dated one of the girls.

But this whole thing may have actually gone down if it weren’t for some brave students who overheard the plan and immediately told staff. That led to a full investigation by school officials and the school resource officer.

Backpacks Searched, Arrests Made: How the Plot Got Busted

The very next day after the report, school staff and police searched the girls’ backpacks and sat each of them down for individual questioning — with their parents right there.

All four girls were arrested and charged with threatening and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

The police report reveals that three of the girls were visibly shaken and remorseful, but one of them reportedly “smiled and laughed while making excuses for their actions.” Whew!

School and Police Stay Quiet as Case Shocks Community

Both the Surprise Police Department and the school are staying tight-lipped about next steps. Authorities confirmed they’re not sharing any further details, and the school has declined interview requests altogether.

As of their arrest, the girls were released to their parents and suspended pending expulsion.
