A man from Avon, Indiana, received a generous donation after a police officer raised nearly $30,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to reward him for delivering pizza in harsh winter conditions. He received only a $2 tip.

Lieutenant Richard Craig, known as OfficerCraig on TikTok and YouTube, was assisting at the scene of a school bus crash when he noticed a pizza delivery driver walking through freezing temperatures. The driver, who worked for Rockstar Pizza in Brownsburg, had parked his car half a mile away due to icy roads and walked the remaining distance to complete his delivery. Despite his efforts, he received only a $2 tip on a $40 order. Officer Craig later shared a video of this encounter on TikTok, according to Soap Central Lifestyle.

The video depicted a delivery driver who appeared visibly tired as he navigated through the snow.. “$2 TIP SHOULD BE A CRIME! Whoever did this: #SHAMEFUL ROCKSTAR PIZZA HAS A ROCKSTAR DRIVER,” After receiving thousands of views on the video, the police officer decided to launch a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $500.

“I witnessed firsthand, the work ethic, dedication, and determination by this young man while I was on the scene of a crash, during Fridays’s snowstorm here in Indiana. He received just a $2 tip – from a home in a very affluent neighborhood.”

After posting the GoFundMe campaign on his social media platforms, it raised $29,042 with over 1,40 donations within days.
