On Monday (March 3), two suspects gunned down Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources told them that an altercation erupted around 10:45 a.m. at a car wash in Forest Hill, a suburb of Fort Worth.

According to TMZ, the rapper’s videographer, Mello Vision, said the father-daughter duo was celebrating her birthday. Mello said Ronnie, born Ronnie Sibley, was out late on March 2 and woke up early to try and spend time with his daughter, R’mani Sibley, on the morning of the 3rd. Sadly, they were both shot to death.

During the shooting, Ronnie and his daughter sat in his stationary car as it moved through a machine car wash. Police say two men jumped out of a white 4-door Kia and approached the two victims with guns drawn. The assailants fired several bullets into the vehicle, striking the rapper and his little girl.

At the time of TMZ’s reporting, police had identified one of the shooters and issued a murder warrant for arrest. The two Texas shooting suspects, and natives, remain on the run. Besides “suspects,” Police Chief David Hernandez has also called them “cowards” and “public enemies.” Hernandez further called out Robinson’s sex-offender past. Police say the two men staked out Ronnie and his daughter at Slappy’s Car Wash in Forest Hill on March 3 before firing dozens of rounds that killed the girl. The suspects then chased down Ronnie and finished him off in the tragic shooting.

Shamon Jones, the mother of Ronnie’s daughter, was also forced to set up an official GoFundMe page after noticing scammers were trying to profit off the Texas rapper and his daughter’s shooting. Ronnie is perhaps best known for his 2018 collab with Go Yayo called “Hoodfame Killuminati.”
