Gypsy Rose Blanchard shares her two cents on Casey Anthony becoming a “legal advocate” for women’s and LGBTQ+ rights and claims Anthony should NOT be giving anyone legal advice “at ALL!”
As we previously shared, on March 1, Casey Anthony joined TikTok and announced her new career as a “legal advocate” for women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. Anthony is famously known as the mother who was acquitted in the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.
The Florida mother became a fixture in the news cycle after her daughter turned up dead. The toddler was missing for months. She was first reported missing in June 2008. Eventually, Caylee’s body was found in a wooded area near the home of her maternal grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony.
In 2011, following a highly publicized trial, the jury controversially acquitted Casey Anthony of the killing of her daughter Caylee. Although they found her not guilty of murder, manslaughter, and child abuse, they did convict her of lying to authorities.

In her March 1 TikTok video, Casey Anthony claimed she was only on the platform to direct people to her Substack. Over there, she planned to give people legal advice. She said she decided to officially help others legally after “people close to her had been targeted and attacked recently.” She explained:
“The whole point of this is for me to begin to reintroduce myself. I’m doing this both, personally for me, but in a professional capacity. Moving forward, the majority of what you will see will be me speaking in a professional capacity. My goal is to continue to help give a voice to people; to give people tools and resources that they can utilize so they actually know where they can turn to.
One of the main reasons that I’m doing this [is] there are people close to me who have been targeted and attacked recently. There are also people close to me who have had some recent things occur. And when necessary, people needed to step up, myself included. So, as a proponent for the LGBTQ community, the legal community, [and] women’s rights, I feel that it’s important that I use this platform that was thrust upon me and now look at as a blessing, as opposed to the curse that it has been since 2008.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says Casey Anthony Shouldn’t Be Offering Legal Advice
After Casey Anthony announced her plans to offer people legal advice, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is now speaking out. No stranger to the legal system and prison, GRB told TMZ that she didn’t think it was a good idea. On Wednesday night (March 5), a reporter in Los Angeles stopped GRB. He asked:
“Casey Anthony has a new Substack, where she’s charging people for legal advice. Even though she is not a lawyer, do you think that’s a good thing?” GRB quipped, “No. Not at all.”
As mentioned, Gypsy Rose Blanchard had her own legal issues. She served 7 years of a 10-year prison sentence for her role in her mother Dee Dee‘s 2015 murder. The murder was at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.
