As we previously shared, on Tuesday (March 18), a Dallas County grand jury formally indicted Yella Beezy, 33, in the murder of 28-year-old Melvin A. Noble, known as Mo3. Investigators alleged that Beezy hired Kewon Dontrell White, 22, to murder Mo3 in November 2020.
On Thursday (March 20), police arrested Beezy on the charge of capital murder while remuneration in Mo3’s death. Remuneration refers to any form of payment someone receives for performing a service. Mo3 was killed on November 11, 2020, in an ambush-style shooting. The incident took place in the middle of the day on Interstate 35E near Marsalis Avenue in Dallas.

Three Men Indicted In Mo3 Murder-For-Hire Case
In addition to Conway and White, a third man was indicted. White was the first, indicted in February 2021. Devin Maurice Brown Jr., 27, was the second indicted, accused of helping coordinate the attack on Mo3. Police arrested him in Limestone County on federal drug and weapons charges after investigators found a stolen AK-47, drugs, and cash in his home.
Lastly, Yella Beezy is the third indicted. Following his Thursday arrest, he was taken to the Dallas County Jail. He currently remains there until his bond is set. Investigators say they linked the suspects through phone records and surveillance data. They say evidence placed them near Mo3’s location in the hours before his shooting.
Yelle Beezy Released On Bond In Mo3 Murder-For-Hire Case
A day before Yella Beezy’s release on bond, a judge reduced it from $2 million to $750,000. During a bond hearing on Thursday (March 27), prosecutors released footage of Mo3 being gunned down. At the same hearing, Beezy requested a bond reduction. The state has argued that he is a danger and has the means to flee if given the opportunity. They also said that he owns a bulletproof Denali for a reason.
Judge Gracie Lewis listened to testimony from the Beezy’s grandmother, who said he could not afford to pay a $2 million bond. This, despite him owning a bulletproof Denali and living in a mansion in Frisco, TX. Ultimately, the judge decided to reduce Beezy’s bond to $750,000 with conditions. This included an order against any direct or indirect contact with any of the victims, witnesses, or co-defendants in Mo3’s murder case. The following day, Beezy was released from jail.
