Before being signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an undrafted free agent deal, Shilo Sanders, 25, “fired” his father Deion Sanders as his agent and signed with powerhouse Drew Rosenhaus.
As we previously shared yesterday, Shilo Sanders has signed a UDFA (undrafted free agent) deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shilo celebrated the news with his father Deion Sanders, brother Shedeur Sanders, 23, and more while live streaming. During the Twitch live stream on Day 3 of the NFL Draft, we learned that Shilo had another announcement. He shared that he had a new agent, however, he hadn’t yet mentioned their name.
While speaking to his brother Shedeur, Shilo said, “Dad was our agent, but that hasn’t been working out too good. So, today I had to sign with an agent.” Shilo Sanders’ new agent has since been revealed as powerhouse sports agent Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus, who owns Rosenhaus Sports Representation (RSR), has worked with a slew of NFL players, including Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill.

Drew Rosenhaus Signs Shilo Sanders To Sports Agency Before Securing Tampa Bay Buccaneers In Undrafted Free Agent Deal
According to ProFootballNetwork, after seeing all of the drama that his brother Shedeur Sanders went through with the 2025 NFL Draft, Shilo opted to drop his father Deion Sanders, aka “Coach Prime,” as his agent and sign with powerhouse Drew Rosenhaus before the draft ended. Shilo’s brother Shedeur was pushed to the fifth round before being drafted by the Cleveland Browns as an overall 144th pick.
As mentioned, during Shilo’s livestream on Saturday (April 26), his announcement seemed like a joke, or that he was teasing his father, being that he didn’t expand on his comment. However, there was some truth to his big news. Before the draft ended, he was signed by Rosenhaus, who helped get the University of Colorado safety signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL draft.
Rosenhaus officially welcomed Shilo into the agency family on social media later that Saturday afternoon. After joining Rosenhaus Sports Representation, CEO/Founder Drew Rosenhaus and RSR President Robert Bailey negotiated Shilo Sanders’ UDFA contract with the Buccaneers.
Per ProFootballNetwork, at 25, Shilo is older than many of his peers in the draft and isn’t a prime prospect. The publication referred to him as a “fringe draft pick,” noting him going undrafted isn’t too shocking. As a free agent, Shilo will have to earn his spot on the Buccaneers roster with Coach Todd Bowles’ defense.
