Ciara is giving Rihanna her flowers while sharing just how proud she is of the superstar following their Met Gala reunion.
On Tuesday, Cici appeared on The Sherri Shepherd Show to talk about her time at The Met, where she not only graced the carpet with a stunning look, but also had a sweet meetup with Rih.
The mom of four told Sherri, “I just have to shout her out because I’m so proud of her. This is her third baby that she having now.”
Ciara went on to say their convo at the Met was “straight mommy talk, just sweet love, and it’s a special moment for her. She also sent me a sweet DM like a few months back saying she’s so proud of me. And it’s just sweet love, you know?”
She also explained that she and Rihanna are living proof that you can plan to have babies during your career and still thrive. They’re showing women everywhere that success and motherhood can go hand in hand.

Ciara and Rihanna’s Relationship Over the Years
The two have come a long way since their Twitter spat over a decade ago.
Back in 2011, Ciara and Rihanna had a very public feud that kicked off after Ciara made some comments during an interview. She called Rihanna “not the nicest” and hinted at past tension. That sparked a back-and-forth exchange on Twitter, with both ladies throwing shots and keeping the internet talking.
But time heals, and clearly, these women have moved way past all that.
Now, they’re all about peace, power, and uplifting each other. And honestly, seeing them come together like this—especially at such a major event like the Met Gala—was the definition of growth, healing, and boss-level maturity.
