#Socialites, get a load of this! One of Diddy’s newest federal sex trafficking and RICO trial lawyers, Nicole Westmoreland, is a survivor of sexual assault by an associate of Cash Money Records’ Birdman and Slim.
Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy case officially began on Monday (May 5). On day 2 of the trial, Diddy finally added the Black woman attorney he’s been seeking. Nicole Westmoreland, of Westmoreland Law LLC, officially joined the morning of May 6.
The powerhouse attorney joins attorneys Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos (daughter of Los Angeles-based celebrity attorney Mark Geragos), Brian Steel, and Alexandra Shapiro. In mid-April, we revealed that Diddy added Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial lawyer Brian Steel to his legal team and that he was also seeking a Black female attorney; which he now has. Like Steel, Westmoreland also represented a defendant in Atlanta’s YSL RCIO trial. Notably, Quamarvious Nichols.

Diddy’s New Attorney Previously Sued Cash Money’s Birdman Over Alleged Rape By Associate
Furthermore, it’s reported by TMZ, that Westmoreland is a survivor of sexual assault. In 2001, at age 19, she reportedly worked for a company that helped reinstate suspended driver’s licenses. Westmoreland says that Birdman, real name Bryan Williams, co-founder of Cash Money Records, and a man named “Stone” asked her to make a sales pitch to a company at Patchwerk Recording Studio in Atlanta, Georgia.
One evening, Westmoreland and three female friends went to the studio for a large gathering. She says a man named Alfred Cleveland was there. He was a friend of Slim, real name Ronald Williams, co-founder and then-president of Cash Money Records and Birdman’s brother.

Needing to use the bathroom, Cleveland reportedly offered to escort Westmoreland. Once there, she claims he forced her inside and raped her. She also claims he had another man came to the door to keep guard, then allegedly tried to pass her off to him. She begged him not to and was let go. Despite being threatened not to go to the police, she did anyway. Cleveland was arrested and charged with rape, and later pled guilty to aggravated assault with intent to rape.
According to reports, Nicole Westmoreland also filed a lawsuit against Birdman, Slim, and their record label. She sued for negligence, alleging that the alleged rape resulted from their failure to keep the Patchwerks premises safe.
