Beyoncé makes history again as her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour grosses $55.7 million off her first 5 opening nights at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium — thus breaking the record for the biggest single-venue engagement for a female artist in Billboard Boxscore history!

According to a new report published by Billboard, Beyoncé’s first five shows in LA alone pulled in nearly $60 million. The publication reported the singer grossed $11.1 million per show and performed for nearly 45,000 loyal BeyHive members per night.

Per Billboard, 217,000 tickets were sold across the five show-stopping performances. As a result, this makes Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour production the highest-grossing reported single-venue engagement ever by a female artist.

Beyoncé Breaks Record For Playing More Shows At Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium In Venue’s History, Totaling 8 Shows

Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour is also the fifth-highest-grossing tour in Billboard Boxscore’s history. She follows two legs of U2’s ‘Sphere’ residency in 2023 and 2024, Harry Styles’ long residency at Madison Square Garden in 2022, and eight nights of ’Take That’ at London’s Wembley Stadium in 2011.

On April 28, Beyoncé kicked off her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour. On opening night, fans got to see her take the stage to perform songs from her Country-inspired album, and more. She was joined by her two daughters, Blue Ivy Carter, 13, and Rumi Carter, 7. She also shares a son, Sir Carter, with her husband, rapper JAY-Z, who was born Shawn Carter.

As Blue Ivy slayed the state dancing along with her mother’s background dancers, Rumi also shared a sweet moment with their mother. During the show, Beyoncé shares a sweet moment with her youngest daughter as she sings “Protector.” The song is about a mother’s love for her children.

Additionally, after her 5-day stint at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, Beyoncé has also broken the record for playing more shows at the venue than any other artist in the venue’s history. The five ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour shows bring her total to eight performances in the venue. She previously played there three times during her ‘Renaissance’ tour in 2023.
