American rapper HoodyBaby has been identified as a second man charged alongside Chris Brown in the alleged 2023 London nightclub “bottle attack” — in which music producer Abe Diaw claims he was hospitalized after being hit over the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila.

In the incident, Diaw sued Brown, accusing him of “beating” him unconscious and causing serious injuries that left him hospitalized. Diaw’s attorneys told TMZ that they are still “pursuing all legal remedies to hold him accountable.”

Who Is Rapper HoodyBaby And How Is He Connected To Lil Wayne And Chris Brown?

In addition to Chris Brown’s arrest in the incident, American rapper HoodyBaby, real name Omololu Akinlolu, 38, has also been arrested and charged. HoodyBaby is a rapper, songwriter, and producer from Dallas, Texas. He was signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label in 2014. He also has a production deal with Warner/Chappell Music, Inc.

After signing to Wayne, HoodyBaby released his first studio album, ‘Kitchen 24: Slangin Off Key.’ He is also very-known for his song “Think I’m Lyin,” and features like “Eureka” or “My Dawg.” HoodyBaby is also affiliated with Chris Brown’s OHB (Original Hood Bosses) crew.

Now, according to several updated reports, it seemingly appears that Chris Brown, 36, may not have acted alone in the alleged bottle smashing incident at London’s Tape nightclub on February 19, 2023. According to Reuters, one day after Chris Brown was arrested and charged over the same incident, police in the United Kingdom charged another man.

Rapper and producer HoodyBaby, born Omololu Akinlolu, is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the assault. In a statement from London’s Metropolitan Police, HoodyBaby was set to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (May 17).

Chris Brown’s ‘Breezy Bowl XX’ World Tour In Doubt After London ‘Bottle Attack’ Arrest

As we previously shared, on Thursday (May 15), Grammy Award-winner Chris Brown was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the assault. On Friday (May 16), Brown was denied bail by an English court. Brown won’t be seen in court again until June 13.

The situation has left several fans and celebrities praying for his freedom. Additionally, it has caused several concerns with his upcoming ‘Breezy Bowl XX’ world tour. The production looks to celebrate his 20 years in the music and entertainment industry. Brown is scheduled to kick off the stadium world tour on June 8 in the Netherlands. However, there is no word yet on the status of any postponements and rescheduled dates.
