After slaying the carpet on fashion’s biggest night on May 5, 2025, Megan The Stallion went viral again after taping inside the Met Gala She posted a nearly 4-minute video to her Instagram video and captioned it, “Hottie Cam in thee MET GALA 
“
The video opened with Megan and her celebrity friends, WNBA player Angel Reese and fellow rapper/singer Doechii, tasting the food at their dinner table and rating it. For about two-and-a-half minutes, Megan, Angel, and Doechii rated the food arriving at their table. In the next portion, Megan then proceeded to show her walking about the inside, dancing, taking shots, and posing with other celebrities.
While watching her video, fans saw cameos by actress Tracee Ellis Ross, Olympic runner Sha’Carri Richardson, rapper/singer Doja Cat, actresses Cynthia Erivo, Tessa Thompson, Lupita N’yongo, Angela Bassett, Tennis champion Serena Williams, singer Ciara, designer Michael Kors, and more.
Megan Thee Stallion Laughs Off ‘False Reports’ Claiming She Was ‘Banned’ From Met Gala By Anna Wintour After Posting Content Inside Event
On Wednesday (May 14), Entertainment Tonight posted a video of Megan Thee Stallion laughing off “false reports” claiming she was “banned” from the Met Gala by its main organizer and co-chair Anna Wintour. She said, “It’s not true that I am banned from the Met Gala. That is false.” When asked if Wintour contacted her after the event, she exclaimed, “NO!”
She added, “No, literally, the internet is so wild. Like, somebody will say something and they will believe their own sentence, knowing it’s not true. Like, they made up a full story.” She continued to debunk fake headlines and added:
“The crazy thing is y’all wasn’t even inside, inside, for real. That was just the little food and drinks part. I feel like everybody loves to be involved in my food tasting. So, I don’t think I did anything wrong. At the Met Gala, you come and got on your tight a** dress or your tight suit and, you know, we’re in there congregating.”

While addressing the claims and laughing them off in a second video, she said:
“Okay, no! We’re going to dead these rumors right now, okay? People were like, ‘Oh my god! Megan Thee Stallion got banned from the Met Gala!’ No, I didn’t, babe! Like, that’s not true. Y’all made that up and ran with it. They love Megan Thee Stallion. Anna loves me, babe! That’s why my phone was out.”
