Diddy‘s former assistant Capricorn Clark claims she tried to tell his ex-girlfriend Cassie to leave the mogul during their alleged abusive relationship and she allegedly replied, “JAY-Z is taken, who would I date?”
On Tuesday (May 27), Capricorn Clark took the stand in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy (RICO) case in New York City. The mogul is also charged with transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Diddy, who has being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, faces up to life in prison if he is convicted on all counts against him. As the trial entered its third week, the prosecution continued to build its case against the mogul. This week, Diddy’s former assistant has been on the stand.

Diddy’s Former Assistant Capricorn Clark Recalls Him Allegedly Threatening To Kill Kid Cudi
On Tuesday, Clark told the court how she tried to tell Diddy’s ex, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, to leave her alleged abusive relationship. Clark testified how she remembered Diddy allegedly threatening to kill rapper Kid Cudi after learning about him and Cassie seeing each other during an apparent break in their relationship.
During her testimony, Clark recalled Diddy allegedly coming to her home with a gun one morning in December 2011. She told the court how Diddy allegedly wanted her to go with him on a mission to murder Kid Cudi, who was born Scott Mescudi.
As previously mentioned, Diddy was allegedly enraged after learning that Cassie and Cudi had briefly dated while he and Cassie were on a break during their 11-year on-again/off-again relationship that began in 2007.

During cross-examination by Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, Clark also recalled a moment she previously told him about involving Cassie. In April 2024, after federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami, Clark and her lawyer met with his Diddy’s attorneys. The meeting’s objective was to discuss her coming back to work for him as his chief of staff.
As Agnifilo cross-examined Clark, he asked her about part of the discussion they had during that meeting. Clark claimed she had told Cassie to leave Diddy and date other people. Clark testified that Cassie allegedly replied, “JAY-Z was taken,” and asked her “who would she date?” JAY-Z was dating his wife and children’s mother, Beyoncé. While testifying, Clark did not reveal when this alleged conversation happened between her and Cassie. Nor did Agnifilo continue to push the topic.
